Theoretically, I can now post to SMS Text News via Twitter. I’ve been playing around with Twitter Tools plugin by Alex King and it enables just that. Ever since I swapped from Typepad, I’ve been without a mobile blogging system. Typepad (and Google’s own Blogger) has a fantastic email-to-blog function. WordPress has one too, but it’s never, ever, ever worked for me. Typepad’s one works brilliantly. I used to get news from people on my Blackberry and get it up here on the site whilst I was on the train — excellent.
If I’ve configured everything correctly, I should now be able to send a 140 character update to Twitter and then have it update here on the site. That does severely limit the amount of news one can really disseminate. Worth a go, though, right?
