We also implemented two of the coolest and most requested features for this release: pre-fetching and auto-complete. Now when you use Google on your iPhone, Gmail will automatically pre-load all your most recent messages for you. So when you decide to read a message it will be on your screen in a snap.
I am reeeeeeally liking the new Google services for the iPhone. I have never liked the iPhone email application and, as Carlo says, clearly, neither did Google. I think the iPhone email is great for normobs but I need mission critical stuff and a better, quicker interface. Great work Google!
are the new Gmail features only on the new iphone or can the old one’s upgrade the Gmail account??
