T-Mobile UK — 5p/min to Poland on PAYG

Fresh from my rant about T-Mobile UK’s rather silly policy of only being able to pay with a unique credit card (annoying if you’ve two accounts), comes news of their rather good international rates to Eastern Europe.
The UK’s been attracting a lot of inward migrants of late who, in my experience at least, are filled with entrepreneurial spirit and energy. However, they need to phone home. So no doubt T-Mobile will be attracting quite a few customers with their 5p/min offers (to landlines — it’s 15p/min to mobiles).
If you’re a T-Mobile PAYG customer, text INT to 441 to get started or visit this page.

Odd…it now costs more to call a UK number than it does an Eastern European one…

What I particularly like is that the leaflets in the shops are written in English, Polish, Mandarin and Hindi. At the moment the Voda website has info in Polish and Mandarin. I couldn’t see anything other than English on the T-Mobile page.
It is odd that it’s cheaper to call internationally than domestically - I guess all companies are using these as loss leaders to attract customers.
Message from O2 on my iPhone: “Good news. You can make calls abroad from the UK with your mobile and it’s not as expensive as you think”.
Blimey… they can read my mind??? *dons tinfoil hat*
