TapTu, the mobile search engine with a focus on music and trivia, has announced that they will be introducing new social features shortly, and they also now have an API available for developers. Taptu is a really quick mobile search engine that brings back small chunks of information in a mobile-friendly format. The new features will include the ability to easily share your results with friends.

The new API will allow third party developers to include the TapTu search engine in various applications. More information can be found by emailing api@taptu.com. Also, if you’re going to be at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in February, TapTu will have a stand setup at 7D42 where you can chat wth them and charge your handset up.
