Wantickets.com has announced a new feature in partnership with ShopText, the masters of new mobile platforms. Users can now easily order tickets for hot nightlife events such as concerts and clubs - right from their mobile, via SMS. Pretty cool, the system allows you to text a keyword and confirm the purchase with a PIN number to easily purchase tickets on the go.
This would be pretty convenient, though I’m interested to see the actual implementation/usage of it. I’ve never actually bought anything via my cellphone, save for a mapping upgrade on my Nokia N95. Have any readers actually used this? How is it?
