One man’s experience turns naked-teen texting into national epidemic

Apparently, because some guy from Mesa County found ‘lewd pictures on his 15-year-old nephew’s cell phone’, NBC Channel 11 News has seen fit to declare this as a ‘new trend’.

Parents in Mesa County say it’s a disturbing trend, teens taking naked photos of themselves with their cell phones and text messaging them to other kids.

One Mesa County man, who did not want to be identified, said he was shocked to find lewd pictures on his 15–year–old nephew’s cell phone.

Ridiculous.

It’s not a new trend at all ;-)

I’m willing to bet teenagers have been surreptitiously showing each other their naughty bits since the beginning of time. Mobile transmission of said naughty bits is just a new (albeit easily accessible) medium.

Don’t panic, don’t panic…

  • Lol its not just teens that do that. I take no-one in Mesa County has ever been coerced into texting ‘FLIRT’ to 90339 (£1.50/msg) :)

  • People of every age have been sending pictures of their naughty bits to each other since the beginning of time. Mobile phones with cameras make it dirt simple. And people are surprised?
