S60 Wordpress client - latest news
Latest news on the S60 Wordpress client development.
The developer’s making good progress. The UI is finished, now he’s working on integrating it with Wordpress. I gather that publishing is fine. The problem is editing and getting the posts to display in the right format to integrate into Symbian. The work-around proposed is to install a script on each server to specifically deliver the text for any edited posts in the right format for Symbian to handle.
I had hoped the client would work stand-alone without any additional scripts requiring installation. Might still be possible… Or alternatively, I might need to put a web proxy in the middle. We’ll see…
Looking forward to seeing how this pans out. I desperately want a simple way to blog from my Symbian phone. If you want any help beta testing this please drop me a line.
