Still got confidence in the zzzPhone

Got a note from reader Chris Drake pointing me to these two blog posts (Bostonpocketpc and Mobile Messaging 2.0) — both of which reckon that zzzPhone is ‘a scam’ or ‘too good to be true’.

I don’t think it’s a scam. Certainly not yet. I’ve handed over one hundred and forty nine smackers via PayPal and at no point did I believe I was specifically getting a Windows Mobile phone. Or a Symbian phone. In fact the zzzPhone site has a mixmatch of information on the subject. I resolved to check-it-out and see what it’s like. Hopefully mine should arrive shortly. But the site does appear to advertise that the OS is indeed Windows Mobile. Strange. We’ll see.

  • Hey Ewan - did anything arrive?
I’m keen to get one of these if it’s real, but… given I’d want to add GPS and the good camera it’s a lot to drop on something that might not work….
