Updated the My Phone Facebook Application

Thank you very much to the 34 users who have added the My Phone application to their Facebook profile. You really, really validated my wish to display the handsets I’m using. It’s only right. It’s also acted as validation against my other half who, although she still doesn’t understand why people want to do this, has added the application to her profile. Much to the bewilderment of the array of her non-geeky friends.

Thank you for the feedback on the first version. I’ve updated it after the raft of “WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU CAN ONLY ADD ONE HANDSET???” comments I received. Excellent point. You can now select a load more handsets (although I really did grimace when I added the Motorola RAZR to the list) and add up to three handsets on to your Facebook profile.

Here’s what it looks like fully loaded:

I gave some thought to adding the ability to have four or five handsets… but I thought that was getting a little bit too… specialist. D’ya think?

You can add the application here.

  • Can the 2nd and 3rd phones only show if they aren’t set?

  • Whops my bad, didn’t set it to no phone, maybe that could be the default option?
