Here’s a cool idea, spotted by IntoMobile.com. The Zeemote JS1 is a small bluetooth joystick for use with mobile phone games. The device connects to your mobile phone via Bluetooth and offers up a much more comfortable joystick and 2 buttons, which is as many as most mobile games use. Several major game developers such as Helistrike 3D, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Tomb Raider have been dubbed ‘Zeemote Optimised’, though I’m fairly sure from their site that it will work with any mobile game.

Obviously this isn’t something you’re likely to carry around with you all the time, but I could see it really enhancing your on-the-road gaming experience. With a handset such as the Nokia N95, with TV-Out and a hacked up version of N-gage, I could totally see using this in the hotel room when you can’t sleep cause your internal clock is all messed up from travelling.

There’s no word on pricing or retail partners, but I personally really hope we see this out soon, perhaps as an official ‘N-Gage Accessory’.
