Is it me or is the Canadian mobile scene filled with total muppets?

With a few exceptions, what the hell is going on in the Canadian mobile industry?

If you’ve got a few minutes, I’d appreciate you posting a comment below about innovation that you’ve witnessed from CANADIAN mobile companies. A lot of people tell me that it’s absolutely dire there — particularly because of the ridiculous mobile data support across the nation.

I don’t believe this. I don’t believe it’s that bad. But when I’ve been in the board rooms I’ve been sat back staring at the wall trying to think about creative and innovative Canadian mobile companies to point to.

Tagga is one. Although they’re not yet public enough for the mainstream mobile industry to evaluate them.

RIM, obviously. Obviously.

Geez. Who else? My memory is failing me. There ARE successful and innovative mobile companies in Canada. Surely. Help me out?

The truly sad thing is that the Blackberry really lends itself to unlimited data — you'd think RIM could push some clout around and get at LEAST unlimited blackberry data for a reasonable price.
