I’m still without my private mobile network. Elvis, the PR manager at the Conrad, and I, have been having technical difficulties. That is, he’s not receiving any of my email. And he needs a load of information from me on how I am planning to use the Private Mobile Network whilst in the Maldives… before we can check it out of customs. I’ll work this out. I think I’ll take my Air and sit in Elvis’ office until we’ve sorted it tomorrow.
Meantime, I’ve been in touch with Mirshan at the main local mobile network here, Dhiraagu. He’s going to send me out a sim so I can check out their data services. The other provider here is Wataniya — I’ve dropped them a note too.
