I just chatted to the folks at o2 regarding this piece we posted earlier about the possibility of UK network Orange carrying the iPhone.
o2, naturally, aren’t in the business of commenting on rumours. But here’s a key quote from their response for us to mull on:
We’ve publicly said we have a multi year exclusive partnership with Apple. So anytime this year would only be one year into the partnership.
So, forget Orange iPhone.
It’s o2 all the way for the time being. Speaking of which, I’m going to see if there’s an iPhone 3G available in the Marylebone store…
