Uh huh.
I’m about to wade into the iPhone storm shortly, up to my waist in challenges, I suspect.
For today, I am heading to the Carphone Warehouse shop — unannounced (er, unless they’re reading) — in Billericay, Essex. Way out in the provinces.
For that Carphone should have some iPhone stock. If it doesn’t, that’ll be an arse. But if it does, I’m getting one…
I’ve been playing with the o2 review unit and I’m thoroughly enjoying it. I’m slightly disappointed by the battery performance. It’s slightly nose-wrinkling. But then again I don’t get brilliant performance from my Nokias either, (unless you’re talking about my Nokia 6300 which seems to last for ages).

CPW 1: No iPhones in. Loads of 8GB models in the warehouse (hang on, I thought you were a... never mind) not sure when they'd get to stores, but could be in the next few days. Apparently '-74' 16GB models in the warehouse. Took my contact details - will ring when there are some 16GB models in.
O2: No iPhones. No information. No waiting list. Just keep coming back.
CPW 2: None in stock. Expecting a delivery tomorrow, try then. Not sure what will be in the delivery, but there will probably be some iPhones.
My money's on you not getting one :-)
