Calling all bloggers — ever had a run in with the law?

A friend of mine from the international mainstream media is looking for examples and stories of this for a feature he is researching on blogger liability. Or perhaps you know a case where someone has broken the law – published photos that don’t belong to them, or libeled someone. You can choose to talk anonymously or openly, but this is a subject that lawyers are trying to jump all over, so it’s important that bloggers have a say in this.

If you’d like to talk to him and possibly be featured in his piece, drop me a note and I’ll introduce you.

  • Never had an issue with the cops (yet), but there was a time where the principal of the school indirectly threatened to sue me lol
  • I once got told off by my headmaster when I wrote that he should take himself away in a certain manner, and that I don't like him, or his stupid new timetable system, and the other teachers don't like him.

    He wasn't impressed.

No law involved though, although I was scared I would get done for liable - then again, I wasn't lying, and what kind of headteacher doesn't expect some students to hate him, and searches his name on Google eh?

    :D

  • Do you think he's got a google alert for his name? Let's try it? ;-)
  • Ha! Probably. He's that type of idiot.

The thing is, he stared at me, made me so scared of him, and he did absolutely nothing! He didn't even shout, just the whole guilt trip look, and lack of words.
