Almost bought a Blackberry Bold

I would’ve, if it was 187 quid on Vodafone.

But I seriously doubt it.

That’ll only be for new customers/contracts:

It’s 600 quid on Expansys, to buy unlocked. I’m going to wait until 3 get their arse in gear and get it with them, I think…

I've had pretty much the same dilemma. Any idea when 3 will be getting it?

They are ALWAYS the last in the UK it seems. ASDA get devices quicker than
    3 do…

    Asda? ;-)

Do you guys know which operators will flog the Bold?

BTW Ewan… how about a mano a mano between the Bold and the Iphone (and the xperia but I don't want to push my luck)

Yes, please, I'd love to get a MIR verdict on the Bold v iPhone debate

Definitely Three, O2, Voda and Orange.

£600? Hmmm CPW is offering it for about half that SIM free if their catalogue is correct. I'll check in store tomorrow.

    Any dates announced?

I went to my local Rogers store looking for a Bold, but went with an iPhone instead. $400 vs. $200 made it an easy decision. But having said that, the 3G iPhone is pretty disappointing (specifically the awful battery life).

I've thrown my net out for a Bold. We'll see what comes back…

It's in stores on Orange now.

£369.99 for a sim free bold in Carphone, I bought 1 a few days ago and have been using T-Mobile and Vodafone with no problems at all.

Its a VERY NICE phone (im using as my modem for my small advent 4211 to type this).
