Lehman Brothers? Ahahahhaa?

Four times yesterday I was asked by folk if I worked for Lehman Brothers — the, er, failed investment bank.

Why the questions?

I was sporting one of my absolutely shocking pinstripes.

It seems everyone and their dog is queuing up to try and laugh at the Masters of the Universe in these challenging times. Have no fear. The Masters will be back. In even more expensive Ferraris, I’m sure.

Meantime I will continue to sport my shocking array of pinstripe suits.

If you see a pinstriped chap striding across Liverpool Street Station carrying at least three handsets and an Apple Air, that’ll be me.

Funny how many deride suits, when in the “creative” sector the accepted uniform is just as rigid – Sketchers or Converse, faded jeans, <insert achingly hip retro logo> t-shirt, messed-up hair.

    Fashion – who needs it?
