I’ve been an MP3tunes subscriber for a long time. I’ve ben using LockerSync to copy my 40 gig of songs to the internet — a) so I can have a backup and b) so I can access my music remotely.
I’ve been hearing about their mobileification for some time so I took a look.
Sure enough. They’re working hard.
They’ve a new service — MobileSync (beta) that enables your mobile handset to receive new songs from your online Music Locker, computer — or even web pages. Interesting. Very interesting.
They’ve also got a piece of software by the name of Load2Mobile that you can install in your browser. It finds music tracks on the web pages that you visit and sideloads them straight into your MP3tunes Locker (and, after that, your mobile handset if you wish).
