Vodafone to bring the Storm to the UK

If you’re someone who likes Touchscreen phones, but hate the Apple iPhone to the core and WindowsMobile just isn’t your cup of tea, we might have some good news for you.

Over at Pocket-lint, there’s a story which confirms that Vodafone UK will be bringing BlackBerry Storm (also called Thunder in other news), the touchscreen handset from Research In Motion (RIM), somewhere in November. The story goes on to mention that the official announcement will be made around October.

The folks at Pocket-lint are citing multiple sources for the confirmed news, so if you’re among those eagerly awaiting the launch of the rumored handset, you may begin your countdown now.

With Google’s Android, HTC’s HD and Touch 3G and now the Blackberry Storm, all set to hit the markets before christmas, do we need more choices?

  1. I'm really wondering about the Storm. I think the Bold is more to my liking — unless they crack that screen and make it as good or better than the iPhone, I think I'll be staying Bold.
